Introduction
Diu is a city in Diu district in the union territory of Daman and Diu, India. It is an island lying off the south coast of Gujarat's Kathiawar peninsula, separated from the mainland by a tidal creek. A beautiful blend of sun, sand and sea, Diu is a God's gift to those in quest of a blessed land where the weary weight of this unintelligible world can, for a while, be lightened and the waking soul can hear the music of the nature. How to get there
- Air :-Diu do have one airport at Nagoa which provides Diu-Mumbai daily flights by Jet Airways.
- Rail:-Diu do not have railway facility, nearest railway station is Veraval. Veraval is directly connected to Rajkot, Ahmedabad and other major cities by Train.
- Road:- Diu is well linked via roads that connect the National Highways of the country. These well maintained roads link Diu to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Vadodara, Daman, Palitana and other major places of the western part of India.
